Vaccines for All Ages
At Cleveland Pediatrics, we firmly believe that all children and young adults should receive all of the recommended vaccines according to the schedule published by the Centers for Disease Control and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Infant Vaccinations
Infant vaccinations are crucial for early protection against preventable diseases. We offer:
Routine Immunizations: Including vaccines for Hepatitis B, DTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis), Hib (Haemophilus influenzae type b), IPV (Inactivated Poliovirus), and PCV13 (Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine). These vaccines establish essential early immunity.
Additional Vaccinations: Such as the RV (Rotavirus) vaccine to prevent severe gastroenteritis, and the seasonal influenza vaccine.
Childhood Vaccinations
For continued protection as children grow, we provide:
School-Required Vaccinations: Including boosters for DTP, IPV, and MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), ensuring readiness for school.
Additional Vaccines: Such as the Hepatitis A vaccine and varicella (chickenpox) vaccine for enhanced protection.
Teen Vaccinations
As teens face new health risks, our services include:
Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis Booster (Tdap): To maintain immunity into adolescence.
Meningococcal Vaccines: MenACWY and MenB vaccines protect against bacterial meningitis.
HPV (Human Papillomavirus) Vaccine: For protection against HPV-related cancers and diseases.
Vaccination Process
Our experienced team ensures that vaccinations are administered with care, following safety protocols to minimize discomfort. We provide guidance on vaccination schedules and follow-up appointments.
Importance of Vaccination
Vaccines are essential for preventing serious illnesses and protecting both individual and public health. At Cleveland Pediatrics, we are committed to ensuring that every child and young adult receives the necessary vaccinations to maintain their health.
With the exception of children who are under the care of a pediatric specialist who may recommend an altered schedule, we do not honor changes in the recommended vaccine schedule
