Newborn Appointments: The first visit is often in the first week of life. We always have available appointments for newborns recently discharged from the hospital
Routine Checkups: We monitor your baby’s growth, weight, length, and developmental milestones, ensuring they are on track and thriving.
Health Screenings: Our team performs essential screenings for metabolic, genetic, and hormonal disorders, as well as hearing and vision assessments to catch any early issues. Newborns usually lose some weight the first week of life, then gain it back the second week, returning to birthweight in time for their second visit at two weeks of age.
Vaccinations: We follow the CDC and AAP guidelines to administer timely vaccinations, including the Hepatitis B vaccine, to protect your baby from preventable diseases. The schedule is intentional in addressing the times when your child is at greatest risk.
Feeding Guidance: We have a Certified Lactation Consultant on site to assist with breastfeeding support.
Postpartum Support: Our services extend to new mothers, providing resources and referrals for maternal health and addressing postpartum depression.
Emergency Care: With 24/7 on-call pediatricians, we ensure you have access to professional care for any urgent concerns or newborn illnesses.
